Also the black box is located right under the batt hanging under the framerail...... It is not connected to anything......

Also the heater core is on the pass side of the car half engine bay covered in plastic and half inside covered by dash...

These are just some questions I have had in the past, my car is not currently running because of unknown fluid in oil and such, so I figured while I get the money up to fix it I could do some changes that wont cost me anything...... That's why I asking for this information......

The big black box is the a/c evaporator. If you remove it though, you have to notch a piece on the inner part to keep heat. With you in Florida though, I don't know if you'd really need it. Been a while since I spent a "winter" down there, but it never got below 55ish.

Removal of the evap is a PITA with the engine in the car. You can go from the interior side, but it requires removing pretty much the whole dash. Link included for your enjoyment.

Chaotic94 I was speaking of the black "BOX" located to the left of the coolant resevoir(standing infront of the car), only afew inches away, it's about the size of half a shoe box?>??? It's more like beside the horns on the rail....two very small hoses come from it but go no where!

Can it be seen from under the hood? Or do you have to crawl under the car to see it?

you must either remove the pass fender well, or crawl under car...
