The ABS INOP light came on on the dash of my 98 Camaro. I still have brakes. What does it mean????? It store my camaro over winter and got it out about a month ago to start driving it again. Is it dangerous to drive it with that light on???

 

doesn't anyone know anything about this?? The ABS INOP light on the dash????

 

i guess it would mean take it somewhere and see why the computer thinks the brakes are inoperable

 

The light is telling you the antilock feature has been disabled because of some problem with the antilock system. Your car will stop OK, just like a car without ABS. You should fix it because come winter you wish you had ABS to help you stop on snow & ice.
