'98 PCV Valve Change - Help Please!
Hello, I am new here and have very limited mechanical experience. I have a 98 V6 camaro. I tried to change the PCV valve yesterday. I opened up the little diamond shaped plate with the two bolts on it. I pulled the spring out and then I pulled the PCV valve out, but I did not see any O ring as stated in the service manual. Is it possible that the O ring is missing? Should I order a new one and if so where would I do this at?
Also, when I pulled the valve out it was pretty tough to get out, but the new one dropped right in. Is that the correct procedure - to just drop the new valve in or is it supposed to somehow be screwed in? Is there a way to tell whether or not it is working correctly?
Thanks for your help.

if you try fishing it out and you don't find anything, possibly the previous owner forgot to install one, you can find those at like an auto-zone, or checker auto parts.
If you don't have a parts stor near you try calling up a GM dealer and ordering one up.
