I have a 98' camaro v6 3.8L. I recently bought it and it ran fine, but as i drove it the rpms would drop to 0 while i was going down the road. The engine would still be running but when i pressed on the gas it did nothing unitil i pressed in the clutch and went through some gears then the rpms would jump back up and the car would run fine. Until it happened bout 45min later. Also the car has a hard time cranking in the morning. I was told that it could be the key with a chip in it or possibly the whole ignintion itself. I just got done replacing the key and also foundout that spraying ether in it while trying to turn it overwould almost start the car.If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. tyvm
