is there any other way to make the v6 as fast off the jump?

 

how much power does the camaro have right now??? because a stock 97 mustang cobra has 305 hp at the flywheel. and the one mentioned above has some mods so im betting it more than 305 hp. if both were stock the Cobra would have 105 horses on him. so you'll have to do a lot to the camaro to get its horsepower rating up to the cobras stock power rating.

 

How much horses did the chip improve the car?

 

We are still waiting to see his car. I am guessing he should be around 240HP i am hoping. He just wants to get me off the jump. I told him DR's he would have me. But if i did the same then no. I am putting out about 335HP at the crank. I know we both have alot to do to his car. I am just trying to figure out the best way to go at it.

 

well you could give him a 2 car lead.

 

The Cobra has 335hp
The Camaro has 240hp
thats still a difference of 95hp
how much money is the Camaro guy willing to spend? because getting high amounts of power from a v6 aint easy on a cheap budget.

 

A fuel mix of 60% nitromethane, 35% methanol, 5% acetone, should make the V6 put out 600-700 HP for about 1 minute. LOL

 

Has anyone ever tried to twin turbo a 3800 V6? I bet that would make the Camaro quick.
