i think theres an ignition fuse inside the car i may be wrong but it wouldnt hurt to check them

yeah il check those over too ne other ideas on why it would just stop firing ?

Since it worked once and then stopped it could be anything. I would double check the engine grounds maybe jump an extra ground from the battery to the block but it sound like something electronic gave up.
