Default 97 3.8 supercharger

I can get a supercharger for just about nothing. My question is what all needs to be done to install it on a 97 camaro with 3.8? i have heard the only problem is the firewall... any help would be appreciated.

That depends on the supercharger. If it's one off a fwd 3.8, then you'll have to machine the back of it off, since the intake would be in your firewall, and fabricate a u-bend.

No, not "pretty much it" at all. Your going to need the heads off of an L67, the fuel rail, the internals will either need to upgraded passed an L67 or come from an L67, and a tune..... its not easy at all. If you have access to a machine shop and a seperate car to drive during the build then its more than possible, but it is rather difficult.

already have the internals for it. I am planing on doing it over the winter when i dont drive it anyway and have a shop to do it in and tune. Thats not the problem, just seeing what it would take to fit the supercharger.

L67 heads, L67 fuel rail, L67 injectors, L67 lower intake manifold, fabricate the blower inletto come around front, figure out the pulley arrangement, change out the internals to allowto you to run enough boost to make this worth it, a tune, some beer, and that's all I can think of as of now.

I've seen the supercharger install done, but it was pretty intense. The guy that did it spent months of machining, custom fabrication, and design to get it all to fit. You'd be better off with a wet nitrous system to tell ya the truth, will be much cheaper to do. And easier.
