Default 96 Camaro exhaust muff

Hello all, I was just wondering something. If I were to purchase this here muffler, would it fit my car? It is an SLP exhaust of some sort I have no idea what to be honest. It apparently came off of a 98 Camaro SS according to the seller. I've taken a look underneath my car and it looks as if it might run into my differential, not quite sure though. Was just seeing if any of you enthusiasts would know and give me a few tips or if it would fit or not. Thank you

if you have the single outlet v6 exhaust then I'm not sure it will bolt right up. does yours have the pipe that goes into it towards the back of the car like this one. also is it the same size going in.

SS would have had the Loud mouth? Is there a manufacture name anywhere on that?

I do not believe the secondary hanger near the end of the tips are a factory options. I believe those indicate an after market exhaust. I had to install the mounts for those hanger on my 2000 Z when I installed my OBX cat back.

The metal parts mixed in the the strap clamps are need to secure the after market exhaust. Those brackets mount to the frame.

definitely after market. I just installed a stock SS exhaust on my 99 V6 welded at the Cat, fit snug, a little rattle over major bumps but hey it beats the crap outta droning like a fart can at 2500 rpm.

most SS parts fit right in Our V6's
firwt check the size of the exhaust pipe and compare with your exhaust. Even if it's not the same a skilled muffler shop can take care of it for you
