I have a 81 231ci and I need the intermediate pipe and the tail pipe for my car. THe people at advanced auto dont have it. they have a 6 foot pipe that goes over the rear end but that dosent make any sense because you all know that the muffler is behind the gas tank on this model. I was just wondering where to get these pipes. I dont have the originals because my car was sold to me without a muffler, cat or tail pipe. THanks for all of your help in finding these parts.

 

I don't know what is available in your area, but I located a muffler shop in my area that has all the bending equipment to make pipes up as needed. Their price is comparable to that of shops using factory bent pipes. Got to look around in your area & see what is around. The one I use happens to be a Mineke shop. It is hard to find stuff for 24 year old cars, so sometimes it has to be made up.
