Hey there, I'm new to the forums and working on cars in general, so please do be kind.
My black hardtop camaro suddenly started to make a ticking noise that came from the engine. There was white smoke coming out of the exhaust and a bit from under the engine. The car began to lose power so i tried giving it a bit more gas, which did nothing but prolong it. After a gradual slowing down, the car died. Many minutes later i am able to restart it, but just barely. The engine now idles incredibly hard, shaking, and making the same ticking noise. Ideas? (Note: I am relatively new to working on cars)

 

what the oil look like? is it milky? what is the oil pressure showing?
