95, V6, auto, 50,000 mi. "Fantastic"
[Happy Day! 3 mo. ago answered craigslist ad "1995 Camero, original w/50,000mi. and the owner drove it to my house to see.(I fell in love, looks like it never saw daylite in and out...) Long story short- I drove him home after buying it in my driveway. With NO issues till now.(51,600mi now) The Throttle sticks a few times, but does return to idle speed- and yesterday on a 90 mile jaunt it STUCK at around 3000 rpm. Made it home. Under the hood the manifold say "8800 Series ll." Can anyone point me in the right direction- I'm hoping its a simple fix. Nothing looks amiss under the hood !

Clean throttle body spay carb cleaner on all the linkage. Carb cleaner has a built in lubricant. This is not a common issue so I can not say what is binding.
FYI it says 3800 Series II. It is a fairly rare car because it is a 95 3800.
BTW the intake gasket is a common failure point on these motor. You want to keep an eye on the coolant level and check the oil for a color change and watch for spots on the driveway.
