I just replaced the heads on my car. Now my car has the Service Engine light on. When in idle, it goes up and down between 800 to 1200 rmp. And when i shift into first, the car acts if it was going to turn off. Any one has ideas on what i can do. Thanks

 

Sounds like you might have a vacuum leak. Did you replace them or did a shop? If you replaced them did you make sure to use all new gaskets and clean all gasket surfaces? Make sure the intake manifold bolts are torqued the right amount as well.

 

my old 2.8 did the same thing i replaced the alternator it idled fine try that
