hi all glad to be here... here is my problem with a 94 v6 3.4liter camaro

well about a week ago my transmission had been delaying on the OverDrive shift to the point i would have to take my foot off the gas to get it to shift but i changed my trans fluid and filter 3 days ago and now it wont shift into OD at all no matter what i do so i will be going about 55 - 65MPH down the road at about 3500 rpm when it used to shift into ODat about 3000and its annoying and wasting gas.. does the tranny have a speed sensor in the back that lets it know when to shift and if it does u think thats bad ..... thanks great forums by the way

 

i would take it to a tranny shop. they will tell you pretty fast whats wrong with your car.

 

well i took it to a tranny shop today and they said i dont have 1st or OD anymore well i guess going about 170 mph all the time gets to it lol so they said they will rebuild it for $1000 dam if it cost that much to have fun lol ill quit having fun hahaha...thanks for replying bluovlh8er....

oh could that be why i went thru 2 flywheels in 3 months time lol cause my tranny was messed up

 

Well there you go. You must have been putting a lot of pressure on your tranny that led to this
