I have a 94 v-6 that is running real rich. It runs so rich that when Im sittin still it smells like raw gas in my car. It doesnt affect the dependibilty at all it just runs rough. Sometimes itll run perfect for awhile but then it starts runnin rich again. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

 

Probably misfiring, and what you are smelling is the unburnt gasoline blowing out the exhaust.

 

Do you mean like a coil pack going bad?

 

Coil pack.gnition module, fuel injection, anything dealing with ignition and fuel delivery.

 

Whats the best way to check the coil packs

 

Take them to a parts store that does free testing.
