Default Running Rich

Well, I figured out today that I am running VERY rich, and I'm not quite sure why. Does anyone know how to fix this problem. Also, would the richness/leanness of the fuel attribute to poor gas mileage (I am pulling MAYBE 17 city)?

Thanks in advance.

how did you find out you are running rich? if its completely stock it should be fine unless the O2's have failed. or possibly bad MAF. any engine codes?

When I was taking that vid earlier of my exhaust my friend that was holding the camera said "what's that smell?" and I knew what it was as soon as I smelled it. No, the CEL isn't on and the only other things that is a little strange is that my engine has been running a lot hotter than usual lately (it usually stays in between the 210 notch and the notch above that).

Anyone? Any ideas on what might be causing this?

How old are the spark plugs?

As far as I know they are the originals. The girl who owned it before me kept all service receipts and I never saw anything about a spark plug replacement.

Well, this doesn't happen a lotbut every now and then when I try to start it it sputters and i have to hold the key in the turn over position and it just started doing this. Could this also be a spark plug problem?
