4:10 gears?

The overdrive gear in a T5 and 4l60E should be about the same. There's a crap load of people on FTV6 with 4.10's who run an auto, some with 4.56's even, and they're running in the 100+ range at the track, so what you're saying can't possibly be true.

Basically what we decided on is if this motor is junk, we're buying a new one and throwing it in. But if this is savable its getting a cam and headers... either way i'm ordering these 4.10s on my next pay check

I was exaggerating to make a point. Driving on the highway will be ****ty and loud. Bad mileage... You get the idea.
