Default 3800 home made turbo

I follow these guys cause they are local to me. They normal like 700+ HP 5.3's but it looks like they are open to new things.

" he just built some manifolds and hung a on3 70mm with a small air to air intercooler, 255 fuel pump and it has 36lb injectors, going to upgrade to 60s and turn it up, hoping for 350whp around 14psi stock ecu"

I don't think I would try this without increasing the ring gap on my upper compression rings and upgrading my head gaskets.
