What I mean by 2-stroke is the "buzzy" and coarse feel...I don't know what is typical of these cars, I expect some amount of mechanical ruckus from a Camaro. All I know is that it's the crudest feeling motor of all the cars i've owned, including a Quad-4 Beretta, my 2000 Ford Explorer w/ OHV, and my 1986 Fiero with the 2.8.

Is this normal? How would you describe the engine feel? My motor does have about 154k miles and was almost certainly abused in its former life, but the motor mounts are new and the motor does have a lot of power.
