Default 3.8L spark plug gap?

I was wondering if someone can tell me the optimal spark plug gap for my '97 RS (3800 Series II L36)? Also, what (In your opinion, or through research) is the best spark plugs on the market? I know I'm going to get Iridium tips, but what brand should I look into? I have a coupon for 30% off AC Delco plugs at Autozone, but are they even worth it?

EDIT: I found that the gap has to be either .030-.040 or .060. Can anyone give me a more educated response?

im seeing .060 in. look under your hood there should be an emissions sticker, it will tell you the gap. as for plugs i like the good old copper ones.
