I have a 2000 v6 3.8L and just had a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust system added. It sounds great, I'm happy with it, but I want to know if adding K&N cold air intake would be worth it.
Is there a difference between just "air intake" and "'cold' air intake"...? Are they the same thing?
Also, what would the benefits be?

If you are looking to get a cold air intake you can go to fbodymotorsports.com they have a pretty good selection, also try jegs.com. If you are looking to add horse power a cold air intake would add 15-20 hp (thanks z28pete). Go to the LT1 forum on this website and look for the performance distributor thread. z28pete gave me some really good information about a cold air intake, hope that helps!
