carnage9 My dipstick looks the exact same way actually (with one small exception) and I have a 1996 3.8. I've seen luciora's style also when looking for a replacement for mine though. By the way, anyone know where I could find a OEM dipstick for a 96' 3.8? the very end of my broke off...

 

Next oil & filter change put in 5 quarts of oil, run the engine to fill the filter, and then chck the level. Wherever the oil reaches that is your full mark.

 

Well the problem is that it broke off to high, doesnt really matter too much right now though as the car became a roller coaster ride a few nights ago in the rain.... Now I'm looking for a new body to put the engine but I think I've found one. Thanks for the help though.
