Default 3.8 cylinder 6 misfire

Just had all o2 sensors replaced when my headers were installed. Installed new 8.5mm wires 90 degree boots and all new plugs. Ran great and started stuttering a little. Ran code and its a cylinder 6 misfire. I know the front 2 coils were just replaced 300 miles ago. Would coil 3 be my possible issue?

A common mistake to make is assuming a new part can not be defective. I spent a good part of my career working on cars with less than 500 miles on them and they and most of the time it came back to defective parts.

If you think it may be a coil then just switch the coils and see if the error follows. Don't be surprised if its a cracked plug.

for future reference, many headers have a coating on the inside that when burned off can mess the 02 sensors up. best to run the old ones for a few days then install new.

Thats the bad part the old ones were fused in the manifold. Had 2 shops try so instead of dropping money on manifolders headers were cheaper. Luckily the way its repositioned i can get to it easier

Is it still cylinder 6 code? Have you tried swapping coils and fuel injector to see if the error follows anything?
