Default 2000 V6 CELght on -rough, rough ride!

Help me please- My 2000 V6 Camaro w/ 5 spd. is running badly rough, rough idle, -new plugs, wires, fuel and air filters, plus brand new factory installed fuel pump. she is still coughing and CELight is on. When I was reading your talk I followed others trial and errors, then I got lost at the TBI- I think this may be the problem, but what is it?? TBI (throttle body ______-somthing?)

The camaro repair guide I got at Auto zone said to measure the resistance levels on the coil modules, when I finally got them off, there were no contacts exposed to place the ohm meter needles on. The books picture showed a metal contact plate on the connection location - not my 2000 model. How do I test for OHMs on my type?

I am Bonnie my car is Roxy- my first Camaro and my first newer computered car.

Being that the check engine lite is on, you should get the PCM scanned & see what it is complaining about. The trouble codes will give you a starting point. Much better than guessing.

TBI stands for throttle body injection, which is not what your car uses.

Do you know what the code for the CEL is?
