Hey guys I just bought a 1997 3.8 Camaro with 102k miles on it. Been driving it for a couple weeks and j noticed the temp was climbing a bit. Topped off the radiator and let it run, only to see this horrible leak! Can someone maybe help me find what it is?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Most likely its the plastic elbow under the intake.

Not sure if this old photo bucket pic will work. If so the shinny part is where the water pump should be.

 

Thanks man I'm almost positive that's it! I changed the water pump already.. think I'll have to take it off again to change that little elbow?

 

Its worse that that. Did you down load the manual from the manual section. I am not sure if they have the 97 but any 3800 will be the same. You need to pull either the intake or the belt tensioner bracket.
