I think the pre-98 firebird hood do not look great. You will also find those rev-vent things catch water and are very hard to keep clean on a daily driver. I think a swap to amost any aftermarket hood is an upgrade.

 

^I agree. Another thing that will have to go is the hatch lid. I can not stand those hideous winds. It will get a TA hatch lid if I buy the car.

back to the intake thing, I definitely think a lid conversion would be the way to go, I'm sure it's a pretty common mod on those cars. That stock intake looks crazy haha.
