Oh an for the maf problem you will be fine with the stock maf upto 10 psi. Then you need to swap to an lt1 maf if you go any higher. You ignition is all in tuning the PCM and you'll need to upgrade your injectors and fuel pump to ls1 or lt1 products.

OK this is worse than the V6 to V8 conversion... At least that is possible without supreme uber awesomeness car building skills.

OK the only parts of the Camaro and Firebird that are the same are the chassis floor and engine bay, and the roof panel. The rest inside and out are not compatable or interchangable. Yes a FB dash will fit the Camaro and Visaversa but that is due to the roof and cowl comming together and being the only parts interchangable.

qtrs, tail light panel, rockers, doors, fenders, hood, nose, rear hatch, rear bumper and all the supporting structures are different. If you want a FB buy a FB dont try to make your Camaro a FB you will just destroy 2 perfectly good cars.

there is a thread on it, but basiclly its cheaper to buy a camaro with a v8 already in it as you have to change every little thing in the engine compartment and driveline
