Hello, my first post here, I have a 1999 v6 3800 3.8l and I am looking into a supercharger. However I can find a lot of pictures but no actual places to buy these. So if you know of a good dealer that makes a good product and a decent psi it would be greatly appreciate. Another thing is that I prefer it to be easy to install, please help.

You'll have to find a used kit, as nobody makes one for the 3.8 anymore. Powerdyne was the one who made it. Or find one from a LT1/LS1 and adapt it, though you want an easy install, so I wouldn't bother with a V8 kit.

 

errmm thats what i was afraid of, does anybody know where to get a used kit and how much I should expect to pay for it? I found http://www.superchargersonline.com/p...r=RK-010910284 which is close but is a 97 or to 9th month of the 98s, also how do you know if it is the 9th month?

 

I wasn't kidding when I said there isn't a new kit available anymore. That website doesn't have any, I've emailed them. Feel free to do so if you'd like. As for used ones, keep an eye out on eBay, or other camaro forums.

lol, to tell when you car was made, just look in your door jam, it'll say the month nd year that your car was made, but i saw a turbo kit for a v6 on here a while back.
