I'm a first-timer here so I apologize ahead of time if I've missed a thread answering this question. I just bought a 95 Camaro last night (base model 3.4 liter, no upgrades at all, manual 5-speed) and I'm having a very difficult time downshifting from 3rd to 2nd & sometimes from 2nd to 1st....I have to be darn near sitting still to shift into 2nd most times. But the upshift is completely smooth between all gears. My husband's not exactly mechanically inclined so I was hoping to get some thoughts before taking it into the shop. Thanks!
