are you having drivability issues? what are your cam specs, this is really the only thing that will require a stall.
sorry i cant give you info on mating that turbo trans stall up to the 4l6 tho.... hopefully someone else has that

i really wouldnt knopw i have redline performance. i need to get a hold of them to know what all is done. but the guy said that the stall i have will go out. "it not if its a matter of when" as the guy put it. but we have one laying around so i was wondering

ive seen guys spray on stock TC's enough to well outtorque what you're doing. I dont know if your TC is garenteed to go out where youre at. like i said earlier, if you have a rather large cam it can make driving hard on a stock TC, and you will also bog the crap out of the motor when you launch.
if it were me with a head/cam car I would get a TC made for the car, and probably go 2800rpm stall for a DD, higher for weekend cruiser or drag only car

I do believe that the 4L60E has the same 30 spline input shaft as the T350/400, and I have read that the T350/400 converter would work. But...you would lose your lockup feature, which will hurt gas mileage a little, and it can make the trans build up more internal heat than normal. And one more drawback, I also believe the 4L60E has a smaller converter-to-flex plate bolt pattern than the T350 has, which would mean that the converter you have wouldn't bolt up to your flexplate, and you would have to buy a new one. You might be better off just getting the right converter.

[&:] im not sure on the parts interchangeability but from a power to the ground standpoint id think yould be losing. these motors are designed for torque on the lower end of the rpm scale and while most mods simply move tq and hp up that scale 2800 is pretty high for an around town car ( lots of heat, slipping and poor mileage) buy a converter designed for your mods and transmission this way you only replace it once and you get all the desired characteristics you want kurt

[&:]i dont actually know whats appropriate for that, i had thought most guys go around 2800rpm when they have a more agressive cam. although i guess my drivability is fine on my cam at 2krpm.... i was mostly quoting off of hearsay.
