Ok so I loosen the tensioner and then turn the tensioner to see if its hard to turn or grinds? Same with the idler right?

once you release the pressure at the tensioner you can take the belt off. then yes you can turn the idler and the tensioner to see if its truning smoothly.

I am still unsure whether the noise went away or not. The belt itself is a bit worn but not bad enough to replace. Anyways can you see if I actually did it right and how would I pull out the bearing from the idler pulley.

- THANKS!!

Ok after riding it on the freeway the sound is still there I guess it didn't make the sound before because the car wasn't warmed up. I'm stumped lol I am not sure what is causing that noise

Bels are cheap. Replace belt and throw old one with spare tire for road replacement.
Spray belt with WD40 while running and if it quiets, bad belt.
Goodyear is the only brand I buy.

thanks for the reply I did the squirting water method on the rim side of the pulleys and their was no change to the sound. I checked the belt and I'd say it was in fair condition, has a few cracks but it isn't bad. Hmm should I replace the belt with a gator back belt ?
