Replacing my T5

Default Replacing my T5

Hi everyone ive bought a rebuilt T5 and now need to replace the one thats currently in my car. For the most part i know exactly what to do i have a 1994 Camaro v6 manual and was just wondering if anyone could give me more tips on doing it or make it easier also any special tools id need. Thanks!

also what bearings and bushings should be replaced while trannsmission is out?

always replace the thowout bearing when trans is out. are all you doing is changing the trans or clutch and pressure plates also. if you can afford it, it would be a good idea.

Thank you im glad to say it went successfully, my first transmission swap and it wasnt too bad at all
