Shouldn't have too. Iirc, for the last 20 or years, the internals of a GM 7.5 " 10 bolt are the same.
Are you going to be doing this yourself? Rear gears isn't just a drop in and go thing. You do have to make sure everything is going "mesh" properly before it actually gets put to use. I'll see if I can find a vid for you.
