Default Need Help Picking a Shift Kit

I have a 94 z28 with the stock automatic transmission. I have put very little on it to add power(exhaust, intake, etc) and have a 2500 stall lock-up torque converter along with 3.23 gears. The problem is that the transmission feels funny now and when downshifting the transmission slips more then it should. So my question is: Is the new torque converter causing this and is it normal or is my transmission starting to go? If my transmission is starting to go out, what is a good rebuild/shift kit that will work well with my torque converter?

The converter makes the trans "slip" until its lockout rpm, in your case 2500 rpms. Thats what makes the launches harder. This is probably what is making your car do this.

Okay, thanks, I was hoping that it was just the converter and I didn't need to fix or upgrade the tranny yet.
