Guys and Gals, I have decided to replace my clutch in my 99 3.8 Camaro. Engine is out on other repairs, that's another story..., after reading, no spending several days in researching clutches, getting some insite info from some of you all, reading thread after thread, the only conclusion I can come up with is to go with a Centerforce dual friction clutch. Before I move on, I will also replace the slave and master cylinder. If I with the Centerforce do that the car will sit at shop for more time so that I can gather the money's for that. The cheapest I found on internet was around $350.00 with out the TO bearing which that was another $80.00. I intially started looking at Ebay clutches but thanks to some of you all opened my eyes and have decided to stay away from those. I have also read to stay away from Zone type. OReily's sell "Sachs brands" Any thoughts or experience. From reading one of the threads, I did come across clutchplace.com. There I was able to find an AMS brand. It had pretty good fancy reading if I may say. That one came in at around $182.00.
One last one I did find a A/C Delco for 231.00. I am leaning towards the AMS brand. I would welcome any comments, griefs, and etc on this issue. I believe it is called contructive critisim. And yes I did orginally post this thread on the 4th generation site.
