Default Rear Suspension Sqeek?

I have a 1997 Z28 and the rear suspension makes a "squeeking" noise when it flexes. I was wondering if there is any way to oil or grease the suspension or do I need to replace it?

you could probably get away with greasing the bolts and bushes for the control arms, panhard rod and the spring seats to see if it cures the problem, if not it may be your shocks, but do the bounce test to see if the car bounces around or settles if you push the back end down

I took it to a local shop in town today and they said that it was the rear brakes, sounds like a bunch of bull to me! I talk to the guy I bought it from and he said it only squeeked on cold days and he said that there is no way that it is the brakes and he owns the best body shop in town so I would think that he knows what he is talking about. So I dont know what to do.

I have had a mystery sqeek twice that sounded like it was coming from the rearend, turned out to be the bushing at the top of the shocks. Don't know if that's your mysterie squeek, but just sharing my 2 cents.
