Rear shocks

Default Rear shocks

Got done replacing the front sway bar links and bushings...moved to the back to do the same and replace the shocks...where the heck is the upper bolt on the shocks? I have removed both rear panels and lowered the rear seat...and pealed back the carpet but a I still can't find the upper shock mount....help??

thats exactly what i did. Just make a precise cut with a carpet knife, and you wont even notice when you put the seat back up.

I was able to fold the carpet back enough without cutting it. This car still had original shocks on it. Got some KYB gas adjust shocks, new sway bar end links and bushings put on today.

nice man, I replaced the rear shocks on my 98, i used the KYB GR2s. my stock shocks had 195k on them! what a difference. my front struts have over 200k on them now.... thats my next job!

I went with KYB gas adjust and prothane links/bushings. What a difference!

I am thinking about using that setup on my 99 camaro, Are you getting any squeeks out of them bushings ?
