You still have a bad tire on there so it's going to shake. If, after you get the new tire on and assuming they are all balanced correctly, it will point to something else all together.

Does the car shimmy more under load? If the new tire doesn't work and the rack is tight, know this is going to sound weird, but check the u-joints on the driveshaft.

Checked rear axles i would say pass side is bent what do you think of drivers side? This would explain the passenger side "hop". today I could notice driving 30 mph so its getting worse. if you listen close you can here it clicking as it wobbles. So how to tell if I have traction control? i have no buttons on dash other than sgs or is there no switch?

First thing you'd want to do is remove the wheel, and the brakes down to the hub. Then try running it like that again and see if the hub itself is in fact wobbling. You could have a build up of rust or corrosion chunks anywhere between the axle hub, brake rotor (or drum), and the mounting hub on the back of the wheel, which could cause a wobble like that. When you put everything back together, scrape, wire brush, and sand if necessary so that all mounting surfaces are clean and smooth.

Could it be possible he had a half broken C-clip? I mean, it seems unlikely, but I've seen more unlikely stuff happen!

Edit: After watching the video, I'd suggest taking the wheel off and looking at the studs and lug nuts to see if any stripped. If all checks out okay, retighten them in a star pattern to the proper torque specs.

Looks a wee bit tweaked there too. If looking from the end (between hub and backing plate), can you still see it wobble in and out? Just making sure it isn't an oblong hub giving the impression from the front that it's tweaked. The hub shouldn't be out of round, but we are talking about GM quality here!

never looked and shes back together now. Im just going to replace shaft and who knows how long that cat drove her like this, so i want to put new bearings in for peace of mind. Only axle shaft i could get was without traction control. apperantly 98 didnt have the option on v6 not till 99. My question is does anything else have to come off on wheel side other than brake caliper? i noticed 4 bolts coming into the hub area I'm thinking that was just for e brake assy though. thanks for all the input.
