f body ball joints

Default f body ball joints

first owner 2002 camaro Z28 with just over 200,000 miles

.... Ive been turning wrenches for over 20 years. The lower ball joints are wooping my butt!!! getting them in is easy anoph but how in the hell do you get the dust boots to fit? Ive tried Moog, Duralast, summitraceing and none seem to fit.... any ideas?

i didn't want anything to do with them. had the shop do mine. i watched and he was cussing most of the time. boot that came with the balljoint fit fine.

I always have the shop do mine, they're a pain if you don't have a press. Not to mention the amount of beer needed to do it yourself.

My Moogs boots fit fine. I actually had a hell of time getting them both out and in with my press being down, but they went in.

lol jfactor, stress mitigation can sometimes cost more than the shop. i think when installed on the car the control arm/hub knuckle it holds them in.
