Default edelbrock ias

i have a 1996 camaro 3.8and i was wondering if the rear suspension was different on the 5.7sthen on the 3.8s because i found the suspension i want (if it's compatible) it's the Edelbrock Performer IAS Monotube Shocks i ask the question because summitracing.com doesn't specify if its for the 5.7 or the 3.8, my car has 155000 mi on it and it runs like a charm still i just wanna smoothen the ride a bit and if any-one has any other suggestions im a noob so im pretty open to them, thanks
