Exclamation 95 3.4 rear end

ok so when i accelerate from a stop my rear end makes a grinding crunching sound. Now i know my rear end need pretty much every seal and anything else to be replaced cuz i took it to ted weins and they gave me a large list of everything that needs to be done. Now the problem is i know it would be better to fix the problems on mine instead of buying another one cuz i MIGHT have the same problems from a used one.

Ok so to the point i want to know if there are rebuild kits out there that have all of these things? (bearings, seals, ect.)
also is there rebuild kits with 373 gears? (or would 342 gears be better?)

ok, so if your axle casing is ok you can wasily get all the parts.

The end bearings and seals are pretty cheap prob $40. As for the diff you could get a unit from a salvage vehicle with lowish miles that should be in better condition than yours. Or buy a replacement diff as a kit, $300-550 i think if you want a good one with gears.

If your axle shafts are bent or no good they would have to be salvage as i think new ones would be expensive. If you need to buy theses i'd just get a whole second hand axle from a newer car.

Im not sure what gears you have now but 373 would be better accel then 342, but top end and gas mileage is worse.

ebay has a few companies selling used axles, have a look into these too

hope it helps

you should be good with bearing and seals for axle ends and a diff unit. Make sure you floor the case with oil when you have it all out to get any grindings out. have fun!
