Best suggestions for that car would be new Shocks and a bigger wheel and tire package (17"). Outside of that, unless you have deep pockets that would be it.

Yes and make sure all the suspension parts are in good condition. Tie rods, ball joints, bushings, etc.. If not all the fancy parts won't make much of a difference.

Swaybars swaybars swaybars.... That is the best mod to make to your suspension in any car.. Find the thickest ones you can find and youll be scared at the improvement.. I guarantee it.

But I also agree with Z28Pete, make sure all the parts are in good shape otherwise, it will be a sloppy car with no body roll.. Not much better..

Default RE: suspension

on your 78

start with checking your suspension for worn components and bushings. if all that is good then tires are next because all the suspension mods in the world aren't gonna help if your tires can't hold

poly bushings will make a world of difference because it will help with suspension deflection

sway bars are nice

if you are going all out, I would save the spings and a high-performance shock (if your stock ones are in good condition) for last. if you do this in stages, you can see what each improvement actually does

this is just my opinion but everybody has their own
