Wow. I've been out of the loop on that one for awhile now...Are you gonna keep this a built 6-speed, or are you planning to convert?

Oh yeah, definitely. Every once in awhile I wish I'd gotten a 6-speed, but I'm just too lazy for it! :P jk, but in seriousness, I like the auto. And having a 3.06:1 first gear is very nice. haha

yea every vehicle i drive is a manuel so wen i get into my gf's auto i do things lik look for the clutch to start it ease the brake out to go freak out wen comin to a stop cuz i cant find the clutch it just becomes natural. i would lik to be able to see wat a wheelstand is lik though and with a 6 speed its rare to lift more then 6". im real excited to get the car done cuz i just cant wait and thats y i get so syked about other ppl's builds cuz i know how awesome it is

I'll hold you to that. :P

So rob, what do you think my car would be capable of in the quarter after the engine is built, and then after the suspension is all finished? I've been trying to figure it out, but it's really pretty difficult since everyone always gives a range of possibilities.

As far as I can tell, with 360 rwhp, 380 rwtq in an A4, I should be able to run at about 12.6@109-110, where the main issue is traction. And after my mild/not really drag oriented suspension stuff, I could drop it to around 12.4@110-111. Do you think this sounds right? It's hard to find accurate numbers, since everything is speculation until it's actually run.

Since I'm not super-worried about dragging it, I'm more interested in trap speed, since it shows the capabilities of the car, even if it isn't driven to said capabilities.

U using le1 or le2? The le2 is a nice set up a guy on ls1tech went 11.8 @119 wit a crappy 1.8 sixty foot
I think wit the le1 12.4 is about right wit tires gears and an ok 60 115mph should be easy wit an le2
