Stuff is looking good D.R.
How are you guys on the east coast holding up? We've been having a mild/warmish (almost in the 30's) spell, with light flurries at the most.

Well speaking of snow, we're still getting hammered by it. The garage isn't attached, but we're able to keep digging a path to it. I've been inside doing stuff so far.
Got a different valve cover and had it sandblasted. Finally got around to painting it. No more leaky fiberglass FWD cover.
I always have help of course.

Tore the engine down today since Case had off work due to the snow. Basically, everything but the block and heads are junk. Even the timing cover was scored around the oil pump and pressure relief valve. The lifters aren't rebuildable either and I'm not risking putting them back in, so there's more unforeseen expense I guess I should have planned for anyway. I'm most upset about the cam though, it's pitted and has some slight scoring. Probably for what it'll take to try to refinish it, I'd be better off just buying a new one. We're thinking the culprit is dirt somehow got in there and with hitting the track lately and taking it to higher RPMs, it just started wiping everything out.
