His exhaust is incredibly restricted and he's still running the stock rear. He can't run the poor thing as open as he wants, something might go. You're of course starting with a powerful base, I'm not. Therefore, it takes more work, time, and money to get where I want. It's possible to run 8s, it's been proven. I sure don't want to be going quite that fast though. That's getting way too deep into it.

My point was a lot of people dump money into their cars for whatever reason they might have. My reason is to do something not many people do and spank some V8s on the way. A chick in a V6 can be just as fast, if not faster. So you better watch out.

youre not gunna pull 30 mpg jus because its a sixer, its going to be built, and turboed, you will be closer to 20 mpg
