Sofie's Official Engine Rebuild Thread!
Made lots of progress today!

There's still a good bit left to do, but I'm surprised we got this far. What's left are all the pulleys, bolt together the rest of the exhaust, the alternator, tb, radiator, air box, put in the fluids, and begin the break in process with checking for leaks. There's some other little things here and there that still need to go in. Hopefully by the afternoon everything will be together and we'll be testing her out.

Everything that came off the car got painted for the most part. The pulleys are all black. I LOVE how this is turning out. She looks so pretty. I'm so excited for her to get finished tomorrow. She'll definitely grab attention, now that's she pretty to look at inside and out.
I painted the 'camaro' dash plaque pink instead of it being red. My head unit is set on the color pink. I'm eventually going to get a new cluster set and hvac set through 6litereater that will be pink and black (what I want will total over $400. Have to save up a bit for that one now). I also have a bunch of pink leds throughout the car (it's more of a fuchsia color, they don't make the exact pink I want). That's about it. Everything else is black. I didn't want a pink and black car. I wanted a black car with pink accents. Can't go overboard on the color.
She's definitely a one of a kind car now, MY one of a kind car. I know pink is not everyone's first choice of color, but I think it looks great so far.
