Congrats on getting into the 12's! Gives me hope I'll get there with my car. What suspension and tires are you running?

 

Thanks! Im running tubular UMI suspension everywhere, no stock pieces left. and I'm running 255/50/16 mickey thompson e/t streets on salad shooter wheels

 

I'm really hoping for 12s with mine once it's together. I don't have the tires or as many suspension mods as you do, so I'd be curious to see where my current setup will get me.

 

If you get a converter you should be able to run 12s easy.

Little update for today, picked up some LS1 fog lights and installed them where they would normally be on an ls1 car. Stuck some 6000k HIDs in them and theyre brighter than my headlights lol, and they dont blind people because they have a cutoff.

 

Small update: Scored some LS1 brakes for $50 I just need to order some stainless brake lines and pads for them and then I'll swap em over.

 

Hey socom, do you still have the donor car? I need a front clip and the headlight plastic bracket. I live in wv so if you had it all I could come get it if its a good price.

Funny you mention that, it's already in the works Here's where I'm at so far with parts gathering. Dont mind the dirtyness, I've since cleaned it up a lot. I also picked up this as a car to flip and make some money on, it had a blown head gasket, I have a little over a grand into it including machine work for the heads and purchase price

 

Did they make a 1993 z28 with a 3.4 ltr SFI engine in it? Or did they make a z28 1993 with a V6 engine at all?

 

Z/28s only came with the 5.7 LT1, everything else was a v6.
