Updating with some pictures, she's coming along! I got the fuel system done and the wire reinstalled to the starter from the battery in the trunk. I converted the return system to a single -6 AN line from the stock fuel filter location using a vette filter/regulator. I got the Pontiac column in as well since my wheel was really old and bad looking, so I figured I would swap them. Plus I'll be able to have two sets of keys for my car now

Looks nice. Just curious, what's your clearance like between your exhaust, drive shaft, and torque arm? I've been debating on getting the aluminum drive shaft but I'm thinking it'll hit the exhaust. Even with my steel shaft, I either gotta remove the exhaust or the torque arm to get it out.

With the LT1 I had no clearance issues with my pacesetter Y pipe. I have a tunnel mount torque arm w/ drive shaft loop as well and I could remove my driveshaft with no problem. The aluminum shaft should be the same dimensions as the steel

Did you get the clutch bled? I had issue getting my LT1 bled. Funny part was I got so annoyed I walked away for 2-3 weeks, when I finally went back to it I got in the car and the clutch felt great. I guess it gravity bleed or it just did not like the fact it was dry for awhile.

Yeah I ended up putting a tick master cylinder and a brand new slave cylinder in. The stock stuff wasn't bleeding out so I went head and just replaced it with better stuff. I used the speed bleeder line and just submerged it into the reservoir and circulated the fluid until all the air was gone.

i wonder why guys keep going with those that's 2 into one into 2 ,for me its restricted so much power ,true duals are like having open headers ,for me it was making my car shake an holding back a lot of air ,an now it just seems right ,I guess I just don't see to many guys going with them hear ,but other places they are ,mabey its just the difference in set ups that the lt1 was made for all the pollution control ,an the 406 not realy being carbed , then sone guys don't like a realy loud exhaust either

Too buy a nice true duel system for our cars is a couple grand vs the couple hundred for the Y-pipe set up. Yes, one can fabricate it themselves, but why? It's not necessary for our cars. A full 3in exhaust till it hits the tail is more than enough. I tried doing the duel exhaust system on my car. It sounded awesome, but my mufflers scraped from sitting so low. Granted, that was on old worn out springs. I'm sure I'd have pop can clearance now with the new springs.

Looks and sounds good Socom! Keep it up.
