Default Project : F01

Car is a 2001 Z28
Bought car as a roller this spring
Since then I have installed an LS1 with :
-Comp Cam 231/234 .617 .612 113LSA
-Brain Tooley valve train
-long tubes
-Tune
Along with a T56

We ran into a mystery coolant leak, ended up being notches heads mates to MLS gaskets. Corrected that with another motor drop out of car, got it in, drove it for a week and oil pump went the day I got tune resulting in a spun bearing.

Currently car is back at the shop with an LQ4 waiting beside it to get the cam and speed goodies from the LS1 and get this Z back to roasting some meats.

This will be where I keep my progress.

Over last few weeks I've collected some more parts :
Set of 17x9 and 11 Zr1's and an SS hood (got hood/painted all in for $460, couldn't pass up that deal, helps knowing people in the body shop business!)

Rims :

So I have my :
-Hood
-Rims
-Dark Markers
All stored away. Need to get a set of OE headlights to whisper mod, and maybe a nice shifter etc.. but I think my winter part collecting is near complete!

Some tint in the spring and time to finally enjoy it!

yes the time is short ,for me my 3800 I am still driving it ,with temps going to be in mid 50s next week look like I will make the end of the month ,I watch the weather then the first time I see them predicting snow ,I will arrange to store it like the day before ,my 95 406 takes priority in my garage ,wich is actually 2 feet short of 2 cars ,but I also needed a work space ,so 300.00 to storethe 3800 is the going rate ,an worth it,some of the pictures I cant see right now if you added them but like I said ,looks like sweet ls swap

Its a factory LS car.. I just blew the LS up, so putting a 6.0 in its place, not really a swap, just motor replacement

If you don't mind, what did you pay for the LQ4? Man they do not last long on the market. Around here they only ones that don't sell right away have 200k+ on them. Even those seen to sell in a few weeks.
