Well you know its not too late to go LS
We are working on a friends 87 Z now. Nothing crazy like you, just a fresh bottom end and a good set of heads
. He is looking to make 225-250 at the wheels so it should be a fun little daily driver i think.
Any way keep the pics coming man and shoot me a PM some time. I might just have to make a trip out there to take a look at this monster

tonight was real successful me and my friend got the entire dash back in the car stereo and all. no more ac or heat all the vents r gone which made it real easy. had to do a little cutting for the cage but not as bad as i thought. i took alot of pics but i was using my new camera that i got and dont have all the software set up i should get them up tomorrow. im takin off of work wed so that i can finish the interior with my friend.
got the carpet bout 90% in today need to make a few more cuts and stuff we got the center console set in as well. we didnt get much done since i had to spend my day unbolting a motor to swap into my truck. here's my friend ironing and workin

acdc of course. plus i plan to drive it some i know it sounds rediculous but i am. the only speakers that might go back r the front and possibly the sub set up to be removed. i wasnt gonna go through and strip all the wires out so i put it back. as long as it still has wipers bumper supports leather seats and those kinda things it'll have a radio
