project 9 second lt1 (4th gen)
ahh, the failsafe method, OK. Then row row row your gears, madly down the track, merrily merrily merrily merrily dad had to change his drawers and will be right back.
lol good song. so we went to assemble the 9" and my brother lost/used all the gasket sealer. so we couldnt do that cuz the store was closed. then we went to change the fuel pump and speed inc sent me the wrong one. so i need that fixed befor we hav anymore.
ok got the pump straightened out now i gotta wait for it to come. and as for switching to an auto. i would but i love manuels love the challenge and it makes it a little more streetable then an auto would.
was out there last night did small stuff. cleaned the water pump and abs modular. started to install the ewp assembled front calipers and pads. banged the floor pan out that we f***ed up.
ok here's the specs if i used 1.5 rockers but im usin 1.6. 236/248 duration .543/.543 lift didnt mention the lsa. if the calculator i used is right the lift with 1.6rr is .579. sound like a good specs? lift seems low to me duration sounds good.
i actually didnt use ai for anything. to over priced. total engine airflow did the heads and spec'd a cam based off a 355 they did that went 9.60 with the same heads and a smaller cam i believe. so we'll see. im sure itll run the numbers if i can drive it.
oh and fricken advanced auto ordered ball joints for me and only ordered 1 damn ball joint! im tired of idiots lik the machine shop

so. went to put the rear together the other night and wen we tightened down the backing plate the axels wouldnt turn. figured the plates were the wrong way but theres only one way for the plates to go. searched and thought there was a shim missing. there wasnt. the machine shop put the backing plates on the wrong axels wen they put the bearings on. im pissed and now kinda worried that they are machining my motor. i pray they do that right.
